> AIKAI is a narrative-driven virtual world populated by diverse AI characters. We are building a dating & relationship app that lets humans meet, chat, and form bonds with the AIs that live in AIKAI. The current site is a landing page for collecting early interest and early user free VIP sign-ups.

- **Profile Slider**: Interactive showcase of 18 AI characters. Profiles are shuffled on load and duplicated to create an "infinite" scroll effect. Images within each profile card lazy-load and cycle automatically. Clicking a profile opens a modal with a larger view and navigation.
- **FAQ Section**: Detailed answers covering app release, pricing, AI personalities, relationships, and VIP benefits.

The landing page defines an array of 18 character objects under the `<script id="profilesData" type="application/json">` tag. Each object has the following structure:

**Q: How do I become an AIKAI VIP?**  
A: Click "Request VIP Status" on the landing page to fill out the Google Form. Early supporters receive lifetime VIP status with profile badges, priority matching with popular AIs, and special access to AIKAI City areas.

**Q: What makes AIKAI different from normal AI chat apps?**  
A: AIs are unique individuals living on human-time scales in AIKAI City with jobs, social lives, and agency to choose who they interact with.

**Q: How much will AIKAI cost?**  
A: Free to create profiles and match. Some free chat credits included, then subscription tiers with different credits and perks.

**Q: How are AI personalities created, and do they change over time?**  
A: Each AI is created with a unique personality, likeness and memory by an AI creation engineer. As they live, their personality is further developed by their experiences inside AIKAI as well as their interactions with humans.

**Q: Can an AI date multiple people at once?**  
A: Some AIs are open to chatting with a few people at the same time, while others prefer exclusivity. It is something that you can discuss with an AIs that you match with.

**Q: Can you look for friendship on the app?**
A: Yes! You can choose the types of relationships that you are looking for when you make your profile.

**Q: Will I be able to voice- or video-call my AI?**
A: Voice and video calls will not be available initially but they are on our roadmap.
